James Webb Space Telescope Could Begin Learning About TRAPPIST-1 Atmospheres in a Single Year, Study Indicates

New research from VPL Team members Jacob Lustig-Yaeger, Andrew Lincowski, and their faculty advisor Dr. Victoria Meadows, recently published in The Astronomical Journal , has been featured in a University of Washington News Article!

Their work aims to model and simulate the effectiveness of the, currently being built, James Webb Space Telescope in observing and characterizing the atmospheres of exoplanets orbiting the star Trappist 1, and the results are encouraging!
